Power Bank Validation & NPI FAQ

Is sample approval the same as mass-production release?

No. Release also needs a frozen production reference and evidence that the factory can reproduce it.

When should a golden sample be frozen?

When the physical unit matches the released specification, BOM, firmware, CMF, artwork and accepted deviations.

What should reliability validation prove?

The exact revision passes the defined electrical, thermal, mechanical or environmental test plan with recorded results.

What is the purpose of an NPI / pilot build?

To prove production repeatability with released materials, tooling, work instructions, inspection and traceability.
